Size: Ruthie weighs 10 lb. 4 oz. and is 23.5 inches long! Go, Ruthie! Her weight and head measurements are average, and her height is in the 90th percentile...of course she'd be a tall one:)! She is gaining appropriately which is wonderful to hear!
New things: Still practicing holding that head up and doing a great job at it!
Still practicing grasping, rolling over, and using her legs.
Being babysat by family for the first time!
Fun things: We went to a couple of vet clinics this week, and Ruthie got to hear and see some dogs and cats. She was quite entertained by the noise from and the movements of the animals.
Ruthie got to meet mommy's friends from high school!
Ruthie completed her first road trip and got to experience "coming home" for the first time (besides the hospital). She did awesome coming back, too! Go, Ruthie!!
Ruthie loves: The windmill on Grandpa Cully's train set. It entertained her quite a bit. Thank goodness for it!
Sleeping on and snuggling with both of her grandma's.
Cell phones (uh-oh!)...it's actually the light from it, but it's fun to watch her look at them.
Ruthie enjoys sitting propped up in the corner of the couch.
Being propped up over one's shoulder...high up or hanging over, so she can see all around.
Her fuzzy swaddler!
Watching football with Grandpa Lewton.
Sleep: Sleeping through the night (around 5-8ish hours). She hasn't been feeling 100%, and she did meet and greet with a lot of people while we were visiting friends and family, so we aren't sure if this is real or not, but we are enjoying it while it lasts and hoping for the best!
Mom and Dad: I love when Ruthie crosses her legs at the ankles. It's just so darn cute! We both love when she passes gas, especially when she does it while coughing or crying....haha! Daddy enjoys giving Ruthie baths and having daddy/daughter tummy time. We both love the faces she makes when we give her her Vit D!
Thank you, Lord, for: Time to visit with Auntie Payge!
