Size: No more appointments since last time, so I don't have any definites, but Ruthie is slowly losing her neck, and her double chin is growing:). The last time I put a newborn outfit on her, it definitely tighter than it use to be.
New things: Traveling...she did great and stayed on her schedule! Our normal 8.5 hour road trip ended up being 10 hours and 45 minutes...not bad at all!
I made a mobile out of her Eggie the Eggplant and Ellie the Elephant toys. She enjoyed it!
Talking still! I just love it! It usually happens after she eats. She just stares at me and says all sorts of things. In fact, Tom and I were making a list of the things we are thankful for on Thursday, and Ruthie just piped right in with a whole list of her own:).
Fun things: We went to our church for Thanksgiving dinner, and Ruthie got to wear her "1st Thanksgiving" hat and bib. See pictures below!
We started new Thanksgiving traditions as a family this year! It was super special! Can't wait to start our own Christmas traditions as well!
Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Cully and aunts and uncles in Ohio!
Ruthie loves:Her new giraffe squeaky toy, Sophie (I did not name it; it came with that name:)).
Lights :) (good thing it's the Christmas season)
She likes tummy time on her boppy.
She likes when you blow your lips (not sure what this is called); I can't do it for long because it tickles me! Ha!
Sleep: Our early morning feeding to when she "gets up" at 9 a.m. seems to be getting more consistent. Yay! Tom and I still feel like we are getting enough sleep! And for the record, I only took about a 20-30 minute nap (my husband likes to tease me about my traveling naps:)).
Mom and Dad: Thoughts from mom...Thank you to whoever invented nursing tanks! What a wonderful creation! On another note, who thought of baby clothes? Some of those are not exactly the easiest with which to work (i.e. putting over a baby's head...especially when he or she has pooped up to the chest:)).
Daddy's riding around with a vet this week! Woohoo!Thank you, Lord, for: A safe journey and time with family. It's been so special to share Ruthie with her family...for them to hold her and kiss her cheeks and sing to her. We're grateful grateful for the travels that were made to see her. It means so much!
