Thanksgiving

O's family came for Thanksgiving!
Ruth especially enjoyed all the extra attention:)
Tom worked in the morning.
For breakfast, we had some cinnamon rolls (not homemade...sorry!)! We may have had some eggs, too, to help balance out the sweet. I can't remember for sure!
Above: Playing some Thanksgiving games O's mom brought with her....creating a poem was one and coming up with words from the letters that spell out Thanksgiving. They were fun! I think our team (pictured above) won both games:).
We played other games, too, such as Catch Phrase and Scatergories.
We also watched a Christmas movie ("It's a Wonderful Life"), read a Thanksgiving story book, and came up with (as a family) 365 things we are thankful for (Tom, Ruth, and I's Thanksgiving traditions). It was a fun day!!!

Getting ready to eat!
Ruth started a little before us...she LOVED the corn especially!
We made lots of food!
See??
It was nice because we all tag-teamed. With 4 ladies in the kitchen, no one had to do a ton on their own. It was great!!
We had homemade mac'n'cheese, green bean casserole, rolls, cheese hash browns, mashed potatoes, turkey and gravy, dressing, corn, sweet potato casserole, and cheesy Potatoes O'brien. YUM!
For dessert we had french silk pie and pecan pie. Earlier we had had some various pumpkin and apple treats that Ruth and I had baked earlier in the month (and had frozen) as well.
What a spread! Let's just say we had lots of leftovers!
Early Christmas gift from Aunt Payge (as we wouldn't get to see her at Christmas time).
Super cute! She wore it to church that weekend!
A little sweater, skirt, and leg warmers!
Happy Thanksgiving from the Cully family!
It was a fun, relaxing day!
