Pictures from month 13

Got to spend another morning with Grandma and Grandpa before they left!
(I may have asked her to show me her tongue just to get her to focus on the camera:))
Trick or treating with friends!
Our little cow:)
This costume has come in handy more than once!
Jackpot!
I had this in my one of my "craft" boxes. Perfect size for a one year old to carry around:).
I think we said she could have "one" piece of candy...that seems like something we would have said:).
Although she would have probably eaten all of it if we would have let her:)!!
Can you tell?

Checking out her tractor "books":)

Snack time with Daddy is always fun!
Watching some sort of equipment...tractor or semi or both! They were packing corn silage out in the field behind our house.
Feeling a little "stuck"...:)
Ruth's new vacuum! One of Ruth's great grandmas sent some birthday money for her...this is a result of that gift...
She LOVES it!!
Can you tell?
Still loves reading!
Playing with birthday balloons:).
Our friends brought her these at her party. She really enjoyed receiving them and then playing with them later on!
Giving kisses to family...sometimes you have to improvise when miles distance you from family.
Had bought Pringles for when family was here...Ruth discovered them in the pantry and LOVED them!

Looking at a tractor calendar:)
And being quite entertained:)
Popsicle from the doctor office after receiving 3 shots:(...
Leftover pig tails:)
Mail!!
Peanut butter and pretzels (from the treat bag from my aunt and cousin)...she LOVED the little cup of pb!!
Can you tell?

"Practicing" :)
Note the wind suit...I used to wear those when I was like 10! Love it!
No more swaddle wrap! Our big girl sleeping with a blanket!
Stickers!!
Wedding in Ohio!
Ruth loves corn so much...she didn't want to waste any:)
All ready to go for the big event...Ruth's 1st wedding!
Ruth did well! She loved watching the bridesmaids walk in. She kept asking for "more" (thankfully, she had 8 or so!).
I think I got to hear their personal vows and some special readings and some of the pastor's words, but then I ended up taking Ruth out in the foyer. She was a little too chatty for the quiet, reverent atmosphere of the sanctuary.
I remember, too, at one point before the wedding, I had realized that one of us might not get to actually see the whole wedding (I took Ruth out since it was Tom's friend getting married)...that now weddings might be a bit different for us. It's fun....experiencing new things as parents and figuring things out along the way!
This is a really long caption!
Shopping is way more fun when you get to do things like this!

Grandma's helper!
Grandma introduced Ruth to whipped cream:)
...she loved it...of course!
Got to spend some time with her uncle!
Having a little fun!
Got to visit great grandma!
And had fun with her walker horn:)
Ruth enjoys eating lemons:)
Got to squeeze in a visit to our favorite local ice cream joint...went with my aunt, uncle, and cousin!

Ruth and I hung out at Starbucks one night to meet up with some of our friends (shout out to all of you who came...THANK YOU! So great to see you!!)
This is Ruth with one of my friend's little ones that night.
My mom's side of the family came over one evening to see Ruth and I (Tom was not with us at this point).
It was great to see everyone!
Playing "tent"...Aunt Payge had fun, too! :)
Calling for the dog...
Looking for the dog...
Having fun with Grandpa!

Sistas!
Donut...Ruth's treat when she's with grandparents:)
Practicing using a spoon...in a fun way with Grandma!

I can't remember or figure out what this is...it looks like chocolate (or Nutella) toast?!? Maybe this was a morning when Ruth was hanging out with Grandma:).
Ruth LOVES ChapStick...especially at Grandma's!

Photo shoot with Grandma!

Using all sorts of props this time!
Love her facial expression here:)

The Ruth head tilt...signature!
Point in case!
A new trick she's learned....climbing up into her rocking chairs on her own.
Stunting (cheerleading) with Aunt Maddy!
While holding a cell phone...it starts young!

Due to this book, Ruth learned how to make a donkey noise..."eh-ah". It's super cute!
My sisters rode back with Ruth and I from Indiana to Wisconsin. About 20 minutes from home, we stopped at a local bakery for a treat...we had to do something fun on our girl trip besides fill the van up with gas!
The fun one is for Tom:)

None for me...I just decided I would try a bite of Tom's:). Nothing tickled my sweet tooth enough to get my own.
