20 week pictures:)

19 weeks and 6 days

At a baby shower for a friend

20 weeks!!

Half way there!!

Beautiful Ithaca morning...you should all come to visit!

20 weeks! half way there...wow!

How's momma feeling: I have seemed this week to go back and forth between days of lots of energy and days of feeling tired. But, I still am feeling great! Did get sick a couple times this weekend...random, but feeling just fine other than that.
Size of baby: Baby should about 9 oz and over 6 inches long. (apparently about the length of a banana
). He/she can hear us now!
Cravings: Still carbs, things to snack on (graham crackers for example), and sweets (great!):). I am also still enjoying potatoes in every shape and form. If you have any yummy potato recipes, please send them my way!!!
Aversions: Struggling to answer this one...not necessarily an aversion but I wanted to steer clear of mushy things this week. Also, just plain tomato sauce was not sounding appealing.
Sleep: I have had a couple of great nights of sleep this week! After one night of sleep this week, I had a sore lower back the next day, so the next two nights I slept basically all night with a pillow between my legs = 2 great nights of sleep!
Exercise: I got to go to a Zumba class at the gym!! There's a new summer schedule, and the Zumba class works great with our schedule! It was so much fun!! I just took it easier on the jumping parts.
Clothes: Thank you, mom, for a new black skirt! Can't wait to wear it!! It's funny how certain outfits/clothes make people glance at your tummy a little more...think I noticed that a bit yesterday. I wish I knew what they were wondering...it's like...just ask me if I'm pregnant, please!
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender next Tuesday!
Something fun: My friend just gave me a couple of baby name books yesterday...:) WOW! There are a lot of names! It will be fun reading through them!

Also, I get to meet up with some friends from Rome, PA for dinner this weekend! They haven't seen Baby Cully in over a month, so it will interesting to see if they can tell a change in my tummy. I feel like it's the same since I see it every day:).
We had a great time last weekend at my co-worker's house. It was fun to glean from them! They were open and super helpful! We enjoyed their company!
Thank you, Lord, for: A flexible job...it's easy to take-off for appointments, work on my blog on break, etc.

The Melting Pot

You can totally tell these pictures were an afterthought...since the pot is EMPTY!!

Thank you, Lynn, for this nice treat!! (shout out to my friend Lynn)

19 weeks!!

19 weeks!! one week and 4 days till we know the gender!

How's momma feeling: I'm still feeling great! So nice not to be wiped by the time we get home.
Size of baby: Baby should be a little over 7 oz and about 6 inches long. (apparently about the size of an

heirloom tomato)

Cravings: Bread...mainly rolls of any kind!! (not a new thing for me as I have always loved bread:), but I definitely craved it in particular this week)
Aversions: Still "plain" water. Oh, and the smell of fish was not settling well with me either (I do like fish though).
Sleep: It's getting warmer here, and although I'm still sleeping fine, I'm wondering when the heat is really going to affect sleep (and it might not). Good thing we have fans! I think I started to use pillows a bit more this week...so comfy and fluffy...kind of makes one feel like a princess:).
Exercise: I have been loving the stair stepper at the gym this week...I get to watch my husband play basketball from this spot, AND I get to watch the Food Network on the little tv screen attached to the equipment:). I could be on that thing for hours watching those shows...my favorites so far - "Chopped" and "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives"...ha!!
Clothes: Still wearing lots of non-maternity things (I love dresses/skirts for this reason), but I did notice that the dress I wore yesterday was a little shorter in the front than it was in the back...oh well...I think that kind of style is actually "in" right now anyway:).
Looking forward to: Being at home.
Something fun: One of my co-workers and her husband are having us over tonight for dinner and to talk about baby stuff. She has an almost 5 month old, so they just wanted to have us over to ask questions and for them to share their experience with us...so sweet, right?

Also, we had a great time last weekend in Syracuse, NY looking at baby stuff and eating at the Melting Pot. It was a nice little day trip for us! (see pictures above - note that the chocolate is LOOOONG gone)
Thank you, Lord, for: A great support network, here, there, and everywhere! Our hearts are just so blessed by all of you (and many others). It's amazing how loved we truly feel.

Here's Baby Cully at 18 weeks! He or she is growing!!

18 weeks!! almost half way there!!

Baby Cully is 18 weeks today (5/17/13)

How's momma feeling: GREAT! I can finally stay up until 10 p.m. again, and I have energy to cook dinner and do some dishes afterward.
Size of baby: Baby should be around 5 oz and little over 5 inches long.
Cravings: I've really been enjoying broccoli and ranch dressing together.
Aversions: Water is still hard for me on some days, so I flavor it with flavored packets. This helps A LOT, especially now that it is getting warmer out!
Sleep: Sleeping just fine. Toss and turn a little but still get a good night's rest. (grateful for this)
Exercise: Still going strong with Zumba, Turbo Jam, walking, and Rockin' Body. This baby is going to come out dancing. I have noticed that it feels a bit different when I'm standing and raise my knees; it's like I can feel something there (and there is something there!). I have also noticed that I don't have as much energy through the entire workout; sometimes I have to modify things a bit.
Clothes: I definitely am in maternity pants now. I tried putting on a pair of capris that I was still squeezing into for awhile, but I had to use a safety pin this time around. Maternity pants are just way more comfortable anyway! :) Wearing lots of dresses and skirts...normal ones as they still fit well and are comfortable.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender in 2 weeks!
Something fun: Tom and I plan to go look at baby "things" this weekend, along with a trip to the Melting Pot:). Really looking forward to it!
Thank you, Lord, for: A healthy baby! TRULY! At our last appointment baby was great, and we got to hear the heartbeat again and a little move from him or her. I am really pregnant! Baby is really alive and well. What a true true blessing!
